Accomplishments for Clients
Barkers Marque - This brand had three well developed varietal tiers and price levels with suitable labels for the US market. WWC did a label critique with suggestions of how to augment some of the graphics to make them "pop" for US marketing. WWC established a connection to a North Carolina importer which covered 5-6 states in the south-eastern region of the US market. Leveraging their success on the East Coast, Barkers Marque has subsequently found an additional importer for the West Coast.
The Clark Estate label was created specifically as an export label. Together WWC and the owners developed this new brand with the US market as its main target. Accompanying marketing material was also critiqued. WWC located and connected Clark Estate with importers in both North Carolina and Pennsylvania.
Domaine Jaquiéry - Central Otago Pinot Noir estate winery. WWC critiqued the packaging and made suggestions on improving the label for the US market and simplifying the design to make it more cost effective. WWC connected them with a Pennsylvania importer and continue to search for a west coast US importer.
Mitre Rocks - specializing in Pinot Noir, is an established Central Otago brand. WWC located and connected them with importers in both North Carolina and Pennsylvania, with distribution reach into several other neighboring states.
Spring Creek Estate offered US importers an opportunity to market NZ wines with their own custom label. WWC developed the RATA export brand name as another option for the US market. Using the Rata label, WWC linked the estate winery with a California/Nevada importer for the west coast and subsequently, an importer for the for the Greater New York and Connecticut regions was found who has purchased the Rata wine brand as well.
Rimu Grove - once with US distribution, they needed to find a new importer and create a new connection with the market. Given the tougher economic scene however, it was decided to create the BRONTE brand to market in the US as their second label. WWC located and connected Rimu Grove with an East Coast importer with a distribution reach of the south-eastern states.
