Henry Work

Henry’s background includes over 29 years in the cooperage industry. It started by assembling barrels and wooden tanks in Napa Valley wineries. Later, he was asked to convert a bourbon barrel cooperage and stave mill into a wine barrel cooperage in order to create a new American oak wine barrel brand - Canton Cooperage. That brand was successfully sold worldwide, and the company and brand was subsequently purchased by the prestigious Taransaud cooperage group. Some of his clients have been among very prestigious Napa Valley wineries including Silver Oak, Swanson, Flora Springs, Howell Mt. Vineyards and Spottswoode.

Karen Work

Karen’s background encompasses many aspects within the wine industry. Early on she managed the cellar door for a large Napa Valley winery. During the last twenty years she has farmed their Sauvignon Blanc vineyard, utilizing sustainable farming practices to produce an ultra-premium Sauvignon Blanc. Most recently, she created the Work Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc, a successful wine brand that is marketed in key US regions. All this experience and know-how makes her marketing expertise invaluable.
With Karen’s background in marketing, she can be your representative for promotional trade tastings in the US once your wine is placed with an importer.
